Love Dibba’s highlight video. Explosive player.
This team is going to be FUN to watch and some egos are going to have to be put aside regarding the starting lineup/rotations. There is quality depth at the 2-3-4 spots.

I was worried we didn't have enough scorers, but the additions of Sykes and Dibba gives us 2 big time dynamic scorers. I'm pumped. Let's get a PG and then kill it!
There's going to be some big time competition for starters and playing time! I hope everyone is on campus for workouts this summer!Love Dibba’s highlight video. Explosive player.

Lots of posts about needing a pg,but why is everyone ignoring Sharp? I though he was seen as a good recruit to play the 1. So he needed a year to be ready. Lots of red shirts (he was functionally a redshirt) have made major contributions.

Any team that wants to be taken seriously needs a savvy point guard and I wouldn’t want to bet a super athletic team ready to compete on a sophomore with zero experience as your only option.

Hopefully he is ready to help but you definitely need competition and depth there.
I'm pretty high on Sharp but I think this team is ready to compete right away and you can't trust a guy that only played garbage time last year to start and take the bulk of the minutes.
Trey Miller likely re-entered the portal for a reason because he sees them recruiting over him at point guard. I think they're gonna land someone that can start & play the bulk of the minutes with Sharp getting some run off the bench.

I was high on Sharp going into last season, but unless he makes significant weight and strength gain, I'm not sure he is ready for the rigors of starting a full season. Regardless, at the very least, we need depth at that position. I think with an experienced and proven PG, this team really can compete for a top 4 spot in the valley, especially considering ALL the changes in the offseason throughout the conference.
He's played about 10 minutes of D1 bball. He has a long way to go. Injury really put him behind the 8 ball last year. We would be in trouble if he had to be the starter at the beginning of the year. He very well may develop into a good MVC level PG, but he isn't ready for big minutes. He may be fine as a backup as he continues to develop. Additionally, he is the only true PG on our roster. We need a minimum of 2. We don't even have a combo guard who can play PG.Lots of posts about needing a pg,but why is everyone ignoring Sharp? I though he was seen as a good recruit to play the 1. Possible starters:
Transfer PG TBD
Dibba
Davis
Sykes
Hensley
And a bench of Mayo, Steffe, Bey, Sharp, Moreno, maybe Webber would be a scary rotation. I’m actually OK with Hensley starting at the 5 with all that length/athleticism around him and bringing in Moreno as needed when there are beefier dudes to bang with.
Here's Dibba's transfer tape, really impressive player:
Not sure if we’ll be able to make a 3 but I am loving our roster
Based on the videos I've seen, Saluki fans should be looking forward to seeing a few "Dibba Dunks."
Time to snag a point guard and check the final box.
