Folks,

Now that the roster is complete (albeit there are still rumors of another potential signing), what are your projected / preferred starting lineups with what you know now? What types of situational rotations would you like to see? Who's our 6th man?

We have a very deep and talented roster this year, so interested to get everyone's takes

I'll go ahead and give my lineups

Starters:
1 - Quelron House
2 - Isaiah Stafford
3 - Drew Steffe
4 - Prince Aligbe
5 - Jorge Moreno

Depth:

1 - Caden Hawkins
2 - Luke Walsh

3- Damien Mayo & Davion Sykes

4 - Rolyns Aligbe / Max Pikaar

5 - Jaheem Webber

Redshirts:
D. Pauliukonis
Jalen Haynes?

It is going to be a slugfest for that 3 spot IMO. I think Mayo will be our 6th man and can come in at the 1, 2, 3. Sykes is also versatile for the 3/4. Pikaar can play the 3-5. Great problems to have - I think we can have a special year

My stab as of mid-June:

Starters:

G - House

G - Stafford

G - Steffe

F - P. Aligbe

F/C - R. Aligbe (expecting a big jump)

First few off bench: Mayo, Sykes, Pikaar

Next few off bench: Walsh, Moreno, Webber (Moreno and Webber may battle for the role of the true big in the rotation. Walsh is a wild card in the guard mix as he’s a lethal shooter but will have the freshman curve).

On the fringe: Haynes, Hawkins, Pauliukonis (Also think Haynes and Hawkins are battling for one rotation spot, with Haynes having a size/athleticism edge. DP very likely to redshirt)

Lots of options/possibilities for the coaches to figure out. Hopefully the team stays healthy and turns into a Valley contender.

Starters:

1. House

2. Stafford

3. Steffe

4. P. Aligbe

5. Pikaar

Bench:

R. Aligbe (4/5)

Mayo (2/3)

Sykes (3/4)

Moreno (5)

Hawkins (1, a few minutes per game)

Fighting to get minutes:

Webber

Walsh

Haynes

Pauliukonis

I bet at least 2 guys redshirt, most likely my bottom 2. Wouldn’t shock me if Walsh does either  I’m especially high on Walsh but I just don’t know where he breaks in but I bet he is a stud in a year or two.

Webber may break into the rotation, and I bet House plays a ton of minutes so Hawkins (or Haynes) plays very little. Also wouldn’t surprise me if Rollins Aligbe is a starter over Pikaar but man, Pikaar’s athleticism and height makes him a starter in my book.

Super interesting decisions coming up, but this team should be very good!

I don’t believe Haynes will be fighting for minutes by mid-season, I believe he will be first pg reserve and will likely play some at the 2. I agree on the starters listed with Moreno. We will see how the season plays out but Wow, some great possibilities !
