While the SEC was easily the best conference this year, but 14 teams? 14? Sorry but if you do not have a winning record in your conference, you don't qualify for the tournament unless you win your conference tournament. It's rapidly becoming sickening.

Drake is the only team I am rooting for.  Lost interest the last 18 years.  Soon to be 19,20,21…..

I like Drake's draw.  Think they'll beat Missouri and have a good shot against Texas Tech

I agree. Watched both Missouri and Texas Tech recently and they appear vulnerable against a sound, intelligent team such as Drake.

Texas tech is vulnerable due to their health but I've watched a good number of their games and when healthy, I'd say they're an 8-10pt favorite in a game vs Drake.

There are a lot of inconsistent teams in the tournament this year. Illinois may be the worst with this. Mizzou has been more consistent, but also has had its times of who knows what to expect.  If they play well it will be a long day for Drake. If they don’t, Drake will beat them.

My daughter went to Mizzou,

so I still pay attention to their football and basketball programs.  Their basketball program has a bit of Jeckyl & Hyde going on.  They beat Florida and Kansas (who was ranked #1 at the time), as well as various other ranked teams.  That being said, they also lost some games they should have won.

I think Drake should beat Mizzou, but they need to bring their “A” game because they could get blown out.

NIT - Bradley and UNI play tonight. UNI will get hammered.

Did anybody notice San Jose State gets in the NIT and gets a home game (vs. Loyola)? They are 15 - 19 and finished 8th in the MWC at 7 - 13.  Also lost a home game to Western Ill. and a couple of their wins were against blood donors.

How the hell does that happen?

Since Duke's great freshman is not 100%, I'm picking Florida to win it all!

Sure hope it's not cheating Kelvin Sampson at Houston or Rick Prostituto at St. Johns.

@mr_woogers Truly mindboggling. I noticed it first when I saw OKST was at 15-17. WHY on earth

I tend to agree. Thought they had a chance to be something special after I saw them steamroll us in November. The only downside is that if it happens, the Gators fans in my area will be awfully hard to live with, at least until their football team gets smoked by someone in the fall.
