Seems like McCollum is on his way to Iowa. I would expect them to have Eric Henderson at South Dakota State as their 1st option to replace him.
Drake, despite such a successful last decade, hasn’t seen the 2nd weekend of the tourney in over 50 years.
Time for McCollum to move on and them to slide back into irrelevance where they belong.

If that scenario plays out, the beat probably will go on at Drake, albeit not at anything near a 31-4 level as I'd expect McCollum's guys to follow him to the Hawkeyes. I thought Henderson would have been a good choice for SIU last year, and he'd be a good one for Drake.

They're not going back into irrelevancy anytime soon. They have the resources and the AD to make another good hire and they'll be able to hire anyone they want within reason.
