@saluki44 I didn’t see her post but who cares? She’s not a former employee. She has the right to an opinion just like we do. There are some who really pathetic opinions on here too but it is what it is.

I don’t care that much, but I guess I’d expect better from the wife of a former coach and star player.
@saluki44 extremely she may be nice but she’s def not classy. First coaches wife that I can remember that it was known publicly that she didn’t like it here nor didn’t want to move here. Not our fault her husband came here and couldn’t win. No love lost on her.

And to be making snark comments on a post that has nothing, remotely, to do with her husband. I expect better from the wife of a former star, despite his coaching tenure not ending like they both wanted.
Wouldn't it be funny if Davis ended up at DePaul
What would be funny about watching him win 5 conference games a year?
after a good year of recruiting the 2nd year in the NIL and portal era seems to be the year of improving i say DePaul is on the way upwardWouldn't it be funny if Davis ended up at DePaul

DePaul has had 2 seasons over .500 in the last 20 years. I'll believe it when I see it. They went 4-16 in conference play this year. Speaking of DePaul though I'd gladly take Jacob Meyer from them in the portal this year

Depends on KD's priorities. If he wants to be reunited with Bryan and the money is very good, then DePaul is fine. If he wants to show what he can do on the national stage as Domask and Jones did, he can do better. I share the same skepticism about DePaul, even though the program IS showing signs of life. Heck, the last coach to depart there with a winning record was Joey Meyer, who was fired in 1997 and died in 2023.
Cant anyone take a joke everyone is always so serious I guess I should have put🤣 with the original post
If Kennard was so dead-set on following Bryan, why didn't he follow him last offseason? I buy the Arizona State stuff if he was close to Howard. Howard got his job so late in the cycle last year that maybe there wasn't room for him.

I treated the question seriously because, believe it or not, the Davis-to-DePaul scenario was something I thought of too when the news broke about him entering the portal. So when you brought it up, I offered the pros and cons, so to speak. It certainly was not my intent to demean or ridicule your question in any way because I thought it was a valid point. He probably could go there and be really good for them next two years. Whether that would be enough to turn the program around, I'm not sure, so I see him more as a guy destined for Purdue, Missouri, Iowa State, etc.
Arizona State went from 10-3 to 13-19 this year. Bobby Hurley has to be on an extremely hot seat.

According to the reports out of Tempe, he's expected to return next season, although there's been no official announcement. If that happens and he does not receive an extension, he'll be working under the dreaded lame duck status as it will be the final year of his contract.
I don’t see Davis going anywhere but a proven winner. That is not Arizona State. Does he want to go home and play at SLU? I could see Mizzou before SLU. Purdue still intrigues me. I don’t really care where he goes if he leaves as long as it is not in the MVC.
I am not sure I would not be looking for an experienced big man if the staff does not have confidence in Moreno. I don’t have confidence in Aligbe and Webber is an unknown. Hopefully I am wrong about Aligbe and he fills the bill next year.
