Christian Henry who we were after from Eastern Michigan, has committed to Fordham
I know we’re still in on Prince Aligbe. Dibba might just be done with college? I noticed he got taken off the EvanMiya portal list
Dibba withdrew from portal to return to SIU?
Pikar has signed with us, but agents/attorneys are finalizing NIL money. I feel like that should have been done beforehand/at the same time, but who knows in this new landscape?
We are also close to signing our 14th player. He will be welcomed with open arms for sure.
Don't tease us!
Dibba coming back…..? Seem very possible with how quiet his social has been.
Tap tap tap… is this thing on??
Little concerning it’s taking this long to close the deal. How are we ever gonna negotiate with really good players ? If this is how we do it with guys that only have potential to show.
@mdogs1 I think Dibba could go home and play professionally, but that's just a guess.

it must be exhausting to be this negative every day

Most certainly agree. I am assuming this is Saluki 4 Life, AND teacherdawg reincarnated? He/she has an axe to grind with Saluki hoops for some reason.

GO DAWGS!!!
@tj-mcflys it’s not being negative. It’s genuine concern. We’re told it’s all okay, while every other program in the valley is accomplishing the same with in a much shorter time. With players requiring much higher nil deals. Murray just signed a professionally French player 18 ppg in a good league and it didn’t take weeks. Also love the guys we have added. House , Stafford and the freshmen should be nice. But I’ve experienced too many kids like pikar in my Saluki times to be wary before getting excited.

I've been thinking the same thing. Either Dibba didn't receive an extra year of eligibility or the NCAA has been slow-walking a decision, so he's in the process of turning pro. Like most of us, I'd love to have him back, but I think it's like what my grandfather often told me when I was a kid and pestered him to buy candy or ice cream: "Wish for it in one hand, poop in the other and see which gets filled the fastest." If it's wishful thinking, so be it.
On the slow signings: So-ill-24 has posted that Pikaar will happen and that one more quality signing is likely. His information has almost always been spot-on, so I'll trust that news until further notice.
Happy Week 3 of the Dutch Standoff to all who celebrate.

Please.... I love Saluki basketball. Always have always will. Doesn't mean I am always happy with what they're doing.
Also, GO DAWGS!!!
@siudawgs I doubt we will ever see this long of a negotiation in college basketball history. Apparently he either is flag 2.0 or thinks he is. Just kinda feels like we’re getting played
