Wow. I’ll take a win anyway we can get one. That was stressful.

Thank God and Thanks Giving for Lance Jones.

Don’t care about his FT shooting tonight.  Dude is a stud even on a bad night

I was about to drive over to C'dale and kick Jones in the a s s for his awful FT shooting, but he redeemed himself! LOL

Talk about a lucky win! I feel for Alcorn - they played better than us for 38 minutes.

Sick of slow starts and fast finishes free throws made wouldn't be so tight down the stretch

Somebody upstairs is really watching out for us.  We are very, very, lucky to win this one.  We were not ready or prepared to play this game at the start.  That is on coaches.  We didn't play defense, didn't move the ball, didn't crash the boards the whole first half.  If we had played from the start the way we played the second half we would have won in a blowout.   But it does show character in coming back and playing the way we did in the second half.  I really hope we don't see another game where we are so not prepared to play.  Unfortunately this hasn't been the only one.  We have spotted teams a big start on us in several games but at least we started to play like we know how earlier in those.

if i was there, i would have stormed the floor!

Best post all night.  An embarrassing game for SIU.  Glad they won.  But wow.  Just freaking wow.

Pure luck that the Salukis won this.  Alcorn played well.

i find it very comforting to have JD at the line with the game in the balance.

Jones had 21 - should have had 27/28. 2 - 9 FTs and 1 - 5 from 3.

Domask had 24 - awful 1st half but finally played the way we know he can.

Nobody else was worth ka ka offensively. Verplanken only took 3 shots - not enough.  We need scorers besides MD and LJ or it's going to be a long MVC season!

Coupet's been very disappointing to me so far.  He has his moments but I don't think he's very good defensively despite the fact he was brought in for length and he hasn't been a factor on offense most of the time.

I don't know how SIU can justify continuing to not play Wonders if Dalton Banks is out Wednesday with his facial injury.  This team will be ran into the ground by February.

I don't usually LOL on this site, but when I do The Bobber is somehow involved.

I do think the moonshot arc of his lovely FT shot is quite artistic. Hope he doesn't break a light on the ceiling of the arena, though. That's my tax dollars.
