I mean Wonders redshirt makes sense as it was the most crowded position on the roster.
D'Amico didn't because his position wasn't.
Ebube is in the same situation as Wonders.
Ebube for sure makes sense because Filewich, Muila, and D'Amico are ahead of him and then you add in Hornecker next year and he still might not get as much playing time as you want. You'd rather next year be his Freshman season than his Sophomore season.
I'm curious if Foster is 100% healthy and if that is factoring into the redshirt decision? Someone mentioned he might not have been dressed for our games in the VI.
Also, if Brown and Harvey are out for the foreseeable future, Troy D'Amico needs more minutes too. Developing that depth will only help later in the year. Comparing coaches during their time at SIU, that's something Bruce Weber got right and Chris Lowery did not.
Wonders was dressed/shooting around in warmups during the tournament. Only Brown and Harvey were not.
And I do think D’Amico will get more opportunity in the coming weeks. D’Avanzo struggled in limited action at the tournament but maybe the lesser opponents can get him going a bit.
Good! I'm glad it isn't health related.
As for D'Avanzo, I think one way to get him right would be to pair him with Muila for spells at the 4/5 and slide Domask over to the 3 for a bigger look, especially if Mullins plans to keep his rotations tighter. I don't think you can do that with Filewich though; too much of a defensive liability in the front court.

Not sure why nobody has asked Mullins about Wonders and Ebube. He was asked about redshirts before the season and seemed like he was open to it but there haven't been specific questions about either player.
Because the reporting in that area is all fluff, No pointed questions. Heff NEVER asked a single tough question, one that fans wanted to know.

Same starters as last game
One could surmise that if Wonders could play defense at this level (at THIS time) he would already have seen game action. I honestly don't know what the best course of action is, but since he's missed this many games already, I would lean towards sitting him this year. This team is under .500 so it's not like they're going to make any meaningful end of season tourney unless they win the Valley and/or Valley tournament, which isn't likely at this point.
You mean Alcorn didn’t send a stampede lining up at the doors?

The starting 5 that gives this team the best chance to win IMO. I'm excited to see how this lineup does.
Really don't understand why Muila has become a starter.
Where's Mr. Reis? Some stranger announcing the game.

Football, like everyone else
Alcorn State sure looks like the better team so far

We are missing Brown and Harvey.

Shouldn't matter against Alcorn State
I'm at the game. We are so damned tentative; no one wants to step up. Terrible.
