Hopefully more threes and buckets.... a LOT more buckets to come!More to come…
Get Lance's mom on the Amtrak
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!
I had hoped down the stretch of the Valley season the Salukis wouldn't have Domask with 35+ minute performances too many times. I observed no adjustment. I have been seeing Arch Madness now for decades and conditioning of teams is a factor with back-to-back games of loser go home contests. I have concern how hard Domask is going to have to work against Drake. He is a gamer and a great one but he is human.
Today might be Domask’s final game as a Saluki.
A great career during a very unusual time.
And Lance Jones, another terrific Saluki. Never would have dreamed that a Hinson recruit would be on the roster in 23.
Hopefully we don’t get down double figures in first half like the previous 2 games vs them.
Supporter of the Fab 4: Scottie Ebube, Foster Wonders, AJ Ferguson & Cade Hornecker.
They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.
Semifinal Saturday! Southern is going to need something unusual to happen to win this one. Lance all the sudden getting red hot, Wonders or Ebube providing a big spark, foul trouble for Penn (is Enright out after injury yesterday)? Something unexpected along those lines.
Man, I’d be tempted to press Southern here and there if I were Drake after the hot mess at the end of last night’s win.

Yes, something unusual, like solid fundamental basketball. The one thing I know about the Salukis is, they are consistently inconsistent.
March on triumphantly!
I hope Marcus’ leg is okay, he suffered high ankle sprain the other day.

He looked fine to me against MSU
Ebube can't be the spark if coach won't play him - crazy to me yesterday that Lance went off so badly shooting and no adjustment by coach - just let him shoot his way out of it. Hopefully he works back to average today meaning he goes 6/6 from 3PT and 4/4 from 2PT and 10/10 from the FT line - Friggin go get it boys!!!!
Yes it is frustrating to see offensive struggles but do you just quit doing everything you have done till this point and I mean rotations, defensive responsibilities and game plans for something that might work and if it doesn't what happens then. Yes it is tough to watch but sometimes you just have to persevere and hope it changes and as for someone who has coached a little you can get hard headed in your beliefs it may not be right but it is a fact and it takes huge balls to change your thoughts with your season on the line
@jabman62 you make a good point, but the starting 5 to me just looks wrong against a team that rebounds well. Newton surely played some good defense, but 20 minutes of almost nothing? The lineup should have been minus Newton, plus Muila. Domask shouldn't play the 4, he should play the 3 - we need production from bigs to win these games. Rupert did great, and while Muila didn't put up a bunch of points, he played good D and didn't get in foul trouble, but he was gobbling up rebounds. We HAVE to be able to do that against Drake. I realize it's not likely Cade sees the floor, but he and Ebube deserve some minutes in my opinion.
Go dawgs play like we know you can and ignore all the arm chair quarterback/negative Nancy's on this site! Go Southern Go...
Lately the most consistent lineup in my opinion is Rupert/Muila Domask D'Amico Johnson and Banks/Jones when he is shooting well
