They also hit SIXTEEN YEARS of not making the dance, tying the longest stretch in program history.
The 15 years of no post-season play is the longest since SIU has gone since the NAIA tourney in 1947.
This has been a stretch of epic failure, and if you excuse it, you’re part of the problem.
If you want to talk about Van Winkle, or Kenny Perry, B*rry instead of talking about our current failures, you’re part of the problem, too.
A coach who can’t recruit in todays environment, can’t coach today’s game, or adjust to the game is a PART of the problem.
Either this coach gets a new philosophy and new coaches, or we’re gonna face another 15 years with this sh*t.
