@the-bobber I wouldn't recommend filling up for gas at any station downtown or near downtown - this was a bad guy who got in an argument with a homeless guy (likely with mental health issues that contributed to whatever altercation they had).
I thought I had an old Arch Madness program lying around but not finding it at the moment. I remember looking at the year-by-year all-tournament teams last year and being amazed at how long it has been since SIU put anybody on the all-tourney team (let alone MVP, which I think was Falker in '06), but considering how little success they've had as a team there over the past 15-16 years, I guess the drought shouldn't be that much of a surprise.
Would love to see that change this weekend. You see SIU use that #leavealegacy hashtag/phrase quite a bit, and Marcus and Lance have a golden opportunity here to add to theirs.

Got my tickets today for Friday night. section 103, so excited. I haven't been to arch madness since lowery was coach. Hopefully siu plays well and it's a big party for the saluki fans
Haven't won it since 06. Last good Saluki performance I remember is Desmar Jackson playing like an All-Star and us whipping UNI. Unfortunately didn't play well next game and lost. Other than the Rich Herrin years and one year with Lowery, we haven't done much in the tourney. Would love to see that change. Maybe we'll have a couple of those games where we shoot lights out!! Along with our good D, that's an unbeatable combo.
I expect Drake to win it - they're the best team in the league - but the Gargoyles have the easier path - would really hate to see them back in the NCAA with Coach Whiny!
