Really need Filewich to do better than he did in Chicago last weekend. Lot of misses at the rim, he looked a lot better today. But going against Krutwig is quite the challenge.

Filewich will learn something from this game whether he has a good game against Krutwig or not. Of course I hope he has a tremendous game, I am just glad that the kid will be in there. The more minutes he battles the likes of Krutwig, Prim, etc., the better he is going to be. From listening to his interviews with Mike Reis, Kyler sounds like a smart player, a motivated player and a guy who is going to buy into Mullin's system, no matter what his role might be. As only a freshman, he has already shown some of that Krutwig-like magic dishing out assists and leading the play. As he gains more experience and confidence around the rim, he is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the Valley. I am glad he is wearing Maroon and White.
These are some of my favorite games as there are very low expectations to win so we can watch without getting too amped up. As long as this team gives MAX effort today, which I fully expect they will, I will be happy. I'll then be focusing my attention to the HS season to see how Ebube, A'Amico and Wonders do.

How does this add any value to the forum? No reason to call anyone out. Let’s focus on the game at hand.
According to Reis just a few minutes ago, Jones has a mid-to-high ankle sprain and is using the scooter to get around. He did not participate in any pre-game warmups so it is very doubtful he will play. I know from experience, those ankle sprains hurt like hell and have been told a broken ankle is less painful than a sprained one.

Saluki Radio said he was out and I've seen pictures of him riding on Marcus' scooter during pregame
