UIC fouls UNCG with 3.5 left, they hit 2 FT's to give them the lead, Kennedy can't dribble and UNCG wins.
If NET comes out similar to KenPom, teams would only have 5 (maybe 4 depending on schedule) Q3/4 road games. That’s huge when it comes to getting multiple bids. Not every road game is a land mine at that point.
It certainly looks like the Bradley Braves are on their way to yet another great season under Wardle. 6-0 and some experts are mentioning At Large Berth already. Not sure why some folks were down on them. Almost entire team returning, and Wardle can most definitely coach.
U of E, UIC, and even our Salukis have been a surprise thus far. Going to be a fun conference season.

There isn't anything left on the Braves' non-conference schedule that will help their position in getting an at-large bid. They play at Akron, who lost to Drake by 20, and vs. Duquesne, coached by LeBron James' former HS coach at LeBron James' old high school. Their three home games left are against Cleveland St., SIUE and Division II Truman State.
The only "experts" talking about an at-large bid for PCC at this point are standing at urinals in the Peoria Civic Center during half-time.

Duquense is pretty good and plays in the 8th ranked conference. That would indeed be a good win, other than that, their remaining non-conference is pretty mediocre, although Akron is better than that loss to Drake IMO.
Some really interesting Valley scores at the half.
Drake up just 1 at Valpo
Bradley down 10 at Murray State
Belmont up 6 at Northern Iowa
Evansville down 14 at Missouri State
Murray State beats Bradley at home
Northern Iowa loses at home by 20 to Belmont
Drake and Missouri State grab double digit wins
I guess after the results of tonight's games I guess Wardle and Jacobsen got out coached in their losses like I have said in other threads last night was disappointing but not season ending things happen in college basketball there are always suprising results as long as it is not a trend no reason to panic

Wardle and Jacobson get a bit of a leash because they've actually won in the past. Mullins had two Big Ten starters on his team for 4 years and didn't win anything.
Ben's seat has to at least be lukewarm right now though given all the underachieving they've done the last 7 years.

No way is Jacobsen's seat warm at this point IMO. Saw some of that UNI game - they looked lousy. Surprised me. For some reason, Born only played 20 minutes. Belmont shot 50% and killed UNI on the boards.
Murray has several starters back. They're athletic and looked good. Gonna be hard to beat at home.
Tyson had 22 for Belmont. They're improving.
As usual the point was missed as I was being sarcastic about the coaches losses happen in basketball there is no reason to jump ship at the first sign of adversity again if the game Tuesday becomes a trend instead of an outlier yes by all means bash away but if not let us take a breath and hope we improve and get back on track
Belmont has been improving as of late in my opinion as I've watched a couple of their games. That being said, I consider it an embarrassing loss for Northern Iowa. They have a real shot at starting the season 2-8. If back to back sub .500 seasons don't put coach on the hot seat, nothing will. Bradley gets a pass but with a home game against Ind St, they are in danger of starting the valley 0-2. Going to be a crazy year in the Valley.
