Wow, i glanced at their score and just assume drake was the one winning till i did a double take. haha
Other than Belmont, the entire Valley could lay and egg tonight, and thats after a pretty weak night last night too.
Northern Iowa is looking like they will win tonight. No one has really impressed me aside from Indiana State so far in regards of Valley teams.
Richmond (KenPom 88) would be a nice win for UNI if they can hang on.
Nothing spectacular but always good for the conference to beat an A-10 team
Drake exerted a lot of energy to make up their 18 point deficit. Down 5 with 4:50 left after coming back to tie it.
Belmont just blew a huge lead to Lipscomb. 71-69 Lipscomb with 11.6 left
Yup. Belmont player just threw one of the worst passes I've ever seen to turn the ball over up 1 with 40 seconds left.
Then the defense completely whiffed on the ball handler and gave up an and-1.
Belmont gets an and-1 of their own and Lipscomb can't hit a buzzer fadeaway. Pretty close to a very bad collapse.

Some Sycamore buzz is taking root, pun intended. It'll be interesting to see if Schertz stays another year: they're supposed to return just about everyone next year.
Trees beat Southern Indiana by 44 at home. Northern Iowa loses by 4 to Toledo

What a fun game to watch. While not a bad loss IMO, the only reason UNI was even in that game was because Born FINALLY had a good game. He couldn't miss from deep, especially in the first half. Luckily, they now have 2 home games against 250+ KP rated opponents where they can hopefully win with relative ease prior to entering the Valley season.
Maybe Born is recovering from his injury.
Of course UNI will suck OOC and then be fine in the Valley. Ugh.
