Drake's Ivy League transfer Ethan Roberts is out with an injury
Drake is good, but if ANYTHING happens to DeVries, they will immediately go to the middle of the pack (if not worse) in the Valley. He is a one man wrecking crew. Good to see them create some space and (likely) pull this one out.
I like Enright, you can see why Mullins was after him the way he plays. Xavier Johnson is the first guy Mullins has gotten that plays like that.

One thing for sure, teams that can double team DeVries without giving up too many easy shots for his teammates can beat them. They're not as good as last year - they really miss Roman Penn and some others.

Belmont is not nearly as good as last year from what I've seen. They beat Ga. STate (barely) only because Tyson had an out-of-his-minf shooting night.
Indiana State battled Alabama for awhile without Robbie Avila. If Avila is healthy this year, they're gonna be tough to beat. Swope and Conwell appear to be big time transfer gets.
Still no Kennedy for UIC but they get a nice 15 point win over Little Rock. Think UIC is gonna be better than people think. Their Colorado State transfer went for 25.
Valpo loses at home to an IUPUI team that's won 9 games in their last 3 seasons.
Overall, I think the Valley is looking in good shape so far. Feels like there's a lot more competitive teams than usual.
