Bradley/Drake on ESPN2 is fun stuff. I just wonder when SIU is ever going to be playing in a big game again like this.

Watching and thoroughly enjoying it (it's a one-point game under two minutes as I write this. Watching these teams, it's apparent that we have some work to do to reach that level.
Bradley beats Drake at Knapp 61-59
Drake gave that game away at the free throw line.

The outage must be related to the heavy rainfall in the region Saturday. I have a friend who lives outside Paducah and based on what he said, it was even worse there than it was in Carbondale.
Who knows if it'll help (it won't if Southern doesn't troubleshoot its recent issues), but SIU has a two-day rest/preparation advantage over Murray now for Wednesday's game.

Gonna be a lightly attended game on Wednesday with snow and cold coming into Murray on Tuesday Night

I’m hoping to be one of those in the light crowd it if I can make it down there.
Illinois State is about to take down Bradley at home. Freshman Jack Daugherty hits 7 3's for the Redturds
Okay I’m going to say something that might be a bit controversial, but hear me out. This year’s Drake team is a better version of last year’s SIU team.
One ball dominant guard leading the way. Offense is similar, very methodical, ball screen heavy (Drake runs it much better). Sharp shooting guard (their version is obviously more deadly) and a bunch of role players. Solid defensively and lots of games coming down to the wire (they are able to close their games out…we let’s just say struggled).

The coach is the difference. They also play much better defense
Speaking of Drake, how in the world is this team unranked?
College basketball is a sick joke these days.

Not only unranked, but many of the typical pundits think they probably need the automatic bid, despite a great record in the ballyhooed Q1 and 2 games. The sport is seriously messed up.
Matt Hackman’s famed algorithm showing an 80% chance SIU is the 8 seed going into Sunday’s final games.
Best Southern can do is 7 (if SIU wins in Terre Haute and Valpo wins at UIC). Also some scenarios they fall to the 10 seed with a loss and Evansville winning at ISU (unlikely).
Should also note: looks like a realistic chance of one of those weird play Indiana State Sunday and then again on Thursday in the tournament scenarios.
