Northern Iowa about to get drubbed again…I wonder sometimes if UNI will eventually get tired of Jacobsen.
St. Bonnie is a good team - big and quick - only loss to a good Utah St. team. UNI is not great - lost some big talent to the portal.
Evansville almost had a nice comeback. Caught the end. Albeit unrelated to a degree, had pizza money on the az state San Diego game and tuned in after the Evansville game. Who do I see? Our old Kelly Burke anchor, apparently out west now. Nice to see and quite frankly would make an excellent coach in the valley after all I have seen over the years. But circling back, Murray almost lost and I enjoyed that. Maybe next time.

Burke is an Arizona State Alum. She was a track and cross country athlete there. Sounds like she has made it back to work for her Alma Mater.

Just watched the Sycamores take down Mo State in Springfield in a very entertaining game. TBH both teams looked better than Southern, and both were picked lower.
Going to need to make strides or it will be a very rough ride.
SIU could be in trouble in The Valley. They’re not showing a level of competitiveness that’s going to win many games. Nagy and the coaching staff need to raise expectations on this team. Taking care of the basketball and being able to recognize mismatches and gaps on the offensive end is critical. I also think Sharp should start at point guard.

Amazing finish to a wild game. Stirtz and especially Mascari were incredible.
Drake will have a better at-large resume than Indiana State did last year if they can win the MVC regular season.
