Really excited to see some of these Valley games tonight; not AS excited as seeing us walk out of Stillwater with a road win, but some good chances for the Valley to nab some quality wins.
Valley games tonight:
Northern Iowa @ Richmond 6:00 PM ESPN+ (Richmond favored by 6.5)
Belmont @ Furman 6:00 PM ESPN+ (Furman favored by 9)
Loyola Chicago @ UIC 7:00 PM ESPN+ (Loyola favored by 11)
Bradley @ Utah State 8:00 PM Mountain West Network (Utah State favored by 7.5)
go valley
and Utah State
I just KNEW that was coming.
I am a bit predictable lol
Belmont goes into the half tied with a VERY good Furman team on the road.
Northern Iowa is also right there, going back and forth on the road with another good Atlantic 10 Richmond team.
It would be really good for the Valley if we can steal a couple victories on the road tonight.
Furman and Richmond both pulling away a bit in the 2nd half
Furman beats Belmont by 15
Richmond beats UNI by 13
UIC down 3 at halftime to Loyola Chicago
UIC leading Loyola early in the 2nd half, by far the most impressive MVC performance of the night so far
Fens, the Fresh big man for UIC, looks really good. Very impressive for a freshman.
Fens, the Fresh big man for UIC, looks really good. Very impressive for a freshman.
He's from Iowa, kind of surprised he's not at Northern Iowa or Drake. He's been the best player on the court on either side.
UIC-Loyola tied at 52 at the under 8 media timeout.
UIC melting down a bit late, probably waited too long for a timeout
Looks like Loyola will hang on. Good effort by UIC, couldn't really get rebounds at the end. Saint Thomas was huge for Loyola.
Loyola does hang on, winning by 7.
Bradley down by 20+ at Utah St.
Bad night for the Valley. Not sure how many of these I really expected to win, but disappointing to go 0-4.
