Missouri Valley Conference Games for Monday:
Illinois State vs LSU 10:00 AM FloHoops (LSU favored by 15)
Nate Heise out 4-6 weeks for Northern Iowa. They are light on experience/depth so they can ill afford that injury. Tough schedule, too.

They're still beating a very good San Francisco team with 8:00 left. James Betz and Tytan Anderson are really stepping up along with Born.
And after I said that, they completely collapsed. San Francisco takes a lead with 1:46 left.
San Francisco wins 75-69. UNI got beat off the bench. They were outscored 25-4.
East Carolina isn't great but really starting to think the Trees might be 2nd to Drake in the conference. They have 3 weapons that can go off at any night.
@salukiworld Indiana State almost collapsed like UNI did today. 2nd halves not being friendly to the Valley today.
Indy has perhaps the worst non-con schedule in the Valley, so we won't really get to see how well they do against top talent. However, they have impressively taken care of business and offensively appear to be pretty consistent; maybe we'll get a better sense of how good they are when they play at Southern Indiana on 12/17.
Two of Indiana State's wins were when they opened up against Green Bay, who is 0-5 this year, and then later against North Dakota State, who is just 1-4.

We'll know a lot about them early because they get Drake and SIU in the 2 conference games in November/December

Agreed.
Indiana State would have had a shot at KenPom #88 Toledo but they got upset by KenPom #256 UMKC in the first round of their MTE.
Missouri State has snuck in as the 3rd top 100 team in KenPom at 99. The MVC really has a shot at getting quite a few teams in that top 100 if they play well.
Indiana State loses to UMKC (#237) for their first loss or the year

Oof, time to invite UMKC to the MVC
