Bradley and Drake are playing at a different level right now, and Belmont/Indy State look to have turned a corner, too.

That Illinois State loss was so damaging.  I can handle losing the others but can't drop to one of the bottom 4

Interesting here, Lunardi has Bradley at least getting a mention in the at-large conversation:

@salukiworld simple suggestion from me...put Ebube in and feed him the ball while they're focused on Domask. They'll either get clobbered by our true big man, or they'll figure out he's a threat and back off of Domask. Either way, that's a plus for us.

You don't really think Ebube is the type of big you toss the ball into the post and let him go to work do you? They will absolutely not double him and he would rarely score in one on one post situations...

There isn't nearly enough quality left on their schedule for them to realistically get an at-large... Even if they beat SIU on the road and Drake at home those are just a couple mediocre wins in the eyes of the new NCAA metrics.

@saluki-4-life i absolutely think he is capable and at a bare minimum they can't just ignore him and focus on Domask - it's too easy for someone else to feed him the ball high or low and watch him score. my point was it would keep them from doubling Domask and give Domask a fighting chance to be the weapon he can be. We haven't seen what Ebube can really do yet since he hasn't played substantial time in a single game yet. His cumulative stat line this season is absurdly salivating as several have shown. If he had 25 minutes a game would it hold up? Maybe not...maybe yes???

I watched quite a few of Ebube's high school games and some AAU film as well.  He scored in HS like he has since he's been here.  Fast breaks, put backs, dunks, etc.  I'm not saying he can't evolve his game and turn into a true post, but I am saying that historically that hasn't been his game.

I am not disputing that Ebube offers something.  In a half court set he is only a threat if his man goes to double or loses him on the baseline for a free dunk.  Ebube will score his points with offensive rebounds and rim running.  Maybe he can be a back to the basket big someday but he made a post move the other night and completely missed the rim.  Rupert is more of a threat in one on one post situations than Ebube.

The future is bright with both guys + Cade
