Murray fans should be so proud…
Let's see. Makes millions a year playing a game but he'd rather be a gangsta? Talk about stupid! Read a column in the Memphis paper - these superstars (like Irving for example) get away with a lot of crap. Morant has been pulling juvenile stuff for a while in Memphis (like punching a 17 year old in a pickup game - why in the hell is an NBA star playing pickup games with a local teen???) and the Grizzlies were too chickenshit to call him on it.
They didn't even have the nads to say he was suspended - just away from the team for a couple of days...like a little vacation!
Ja really needs some new friends and a lot of discipline! Kareem should be his mentor - that's one former NBA player that has his sh*t together.
Drake just landed 3-star guard Kevin Overton out of a Florida school. He is 6-4 and apparently highly regarded. Yikes if DeVries stays there.

They’re the ones that can get us where we haven’t been in 15 years.
@siu-grad-87 DeVries has a good thing going at Drake...and it's good for The Valley. That being said, Mullins and staff have to continue to raise their game on the recruiting front, if we're going to have a shot at winning The Valley.
Being a 3 star recruit basically means you are in the recruiting database... He might be a good player but his offers were North Texas and UTSA. He likely won't be Roman Penn. I hope he is great though. We need the Valley to be very good.@siu-grad-87 DeVries has a good thing going at Drake...and it's good for The Valley. I mean, Roman Penn wasn't exactly a highly rated recruit when he went to Siena either. You truly never know, DeVries has proven to be very good at developing players so far. He is good for the valley and like you said, we need teams like them.

I am not sure how this works......
But is it possible to begin a new "Around the Valley" thread that does not require navigating through 174 pages and dating back to October 2020?
Possibly "Around the Valley, Part 2"
Just a thought......
Or start a new one "Around the Valley 2023-24"
Fitting that this 174-page thread started with a post about Tucker DeVries' commitment to Drake and is being "sunset" just after he wins Valley POY and leads Drake to an Arch Madness conquest. 😀

Honestly, you don't have to start at page one of each topic. By clicking on a linked post below the topic name will take you to the current posting in that topic.
Pete Thamel mentioned DeVries as a candidate for Notre Dame job
