Who knew??? I was not alert enough to note the way to quickly get to the latest post.
Still seems a lot cleaner to have posts that are specific to the 2023-24 Valley season under one heading. Maybe not, just my thoughts.
You can also simply click on the page number inbetween the next and back buttons and a drop down box appears allowing you to select any page you want.
This thread is probably too long still. Probably doesn't hurt to use the 2023-24 Around the Valley thread when this season ends.
@salukiworld Let’s make one that isn’t in all caps if we’re going to do that. Bothers my OCD. Lol
Baby Steps! 😉
Also I just assumed everyone uses the "Recent Posts" link. Oops!
Well Bradley chit the bed against Wisconsin. I think it was the first time I wasn't pulling for an MVC team in a post season game. Boy do I hate Bradley....
I had to pull for the MVC. Wisconsin is finally healthy and boy are they good - like Elite 8good. The fact that they are not in the NCAA is a freaking joke! They are going to be a load next year when Purdue's 9 foot giant leaves for the NBA. Wisconsin's 7 ft center had a Reink Mast sandwich - scored 36 points. Mast did a poor job of defending him.
Bradley didn't shoot well, but Wisconsin's defense and toughness and talent was evident at every position.
They beat the oil out of the Gargoyles, but they didn't beat them as bad as Drake did.
I hope Drake shoots well and comes to play. I think every talking head except Seth Davis is ignoring a really good team. Of course they get the ACC champion first round, when they should probably be a 6-7 seed.
Bradley was similar to SIU this year, they win on defense but really struggled to shoot, especially from their guards. Leons was a huge liability at Arch Madness, I think he hit less than 3 jump shots all weekend.
One of the big differences between them and SIU is they move around much better on offense and they have guys on their team that are longer and more athletic.
@salukiworld Yes they definitely had some size on us - Leons and Mast. But Wisco ate those guys up.
This game really illustrated how far we have to go though. Mr. Mullins really needs to improve the recruiting if we are ever to reach the Sweet 16 again or the NCAA.
While obviously not a Valley game, OK St has come back to lead vs Youngstown St in the NIT after Youngstown has led almost the entire game. They're up 5 with 13 seconds left.
Indiana State plays at 10:30 AM tomorrow and is 10.5 point favorites over USC Upstate

I am a physician, and in the medical profession this is known as "barkeep's disease." sadly, there is no cure.
As the last Valley team standing, ISUblue leads Eastern Kentucky 47-43 at the half in the CBI.
