@mr_woogers I guess I would have to disagree with you about Michigan State getting in. They've had a pretty strong last couple of weeks, beating Illinois, Ohio State and Michigan. Now, if you had said Duke or Kentucky, I'd very happily agree with you on that.
I'm not saying specifically MSU should not get in - they're tough - after early season problems. I don't even consider them a bubble team anymore. Just meaning power 5 bubble teams usually get in over 24 win teams from mid-majors, which ticks me off.
Some of it is obviously out of their control but Drake really played a beyond garbage non-conference schedule. They should have been on the phone like Loyola trying to schedule a Wisconsin or Richmond like Loyola did. Or even a Butler like SIU did. Their top wins this year besides Loyola is #84 KenPom Missouri State and then it drops down to #119 Indiana State.
Drake's non-conference strength of schedule would be by far the worst for a possible at-large team (312th in the country out of the 330 that played this year)
There is definitely some validity to this, but they did go to Kansas State and win, the problem obviously being it was a rotten season for Coach Weber's boys.
Weak non con for sure for Drake, but most years at KSU is a very tough game. They just happen to be down this year. KSU Did beat Ia. St. twice, TCU, and Oklahoma!
Bracketology has the Drake battling Colorado State in a 12-seed First Four matchup.
I wonder if the Bulldogs would have any trouble getting up for a game against friend-turned-foe Niko Medved...
Means little, but fun to think about.
Seems like the players weren't too happy about the decision...
I would be interested in LaRavia.

Laravia will have plenty of suitors! I would suspect he ends up at at either a BCS program or a very top mid-major. He won't transfer within conference, so we would not have a shot.

He was not fired. He declined a one year extension. He has done nothing to merit more than that. This is not on INSU

I see, media is doing a poor job covering it I guess. Everything I've seen has titles such as they've parted ways and Indiana State said they need a "new voice"
Well we can pencil in Indy State in the bottom 4 for next year unless their new coach blows the doors off the recruiting trail this offseason; LaRavia and Williams are two outstanding bigs to lose, that hurts them and the conference
FWIW, the talking heads on CBS agreed that the Drake was in the NCAA tourney, but that it would behoove the Valley if they put the auto bid in the bag.
I tell ya people, I’m startin’ to feel good! The Valley is going be a multi-bid league for the first time in three decades (or so it seems), the baseball Dawgs are going for 11-0 this afternoon, Daylight Saving Time is just days away, and I’ve lost 8 lbs over 14 days! Let’s go!!
Congrats on the weight loss, there is nothing that tastes as good as being fit feels.
OK, Kate Moss.... 😉

More like Gary Player, Kate Moss was a speed freak!
