Former players are lobbying for Loyola to the Big East
Honestly I'm sure the Big East would rather have Loyola than DePaul lol

That’s not obnoxious at all. Does Townes plan to return his Larry Bird Trophy to the MVC? He was one of the weaker winners.

Gulp. Sure looks like AJ's time in Cedar Falls might be up.
For what it's worth, the article says AJ is likely to stay at Northern Iowa but who knows

If Moser was gonna leave, this is probably a good time unless they plan on having everyone back next year. If Moser were to leave, I'd guess Matt Gordon would be a good candidate to replace him. Chicago guy from Illinois State that worked with Moser at Saint Louis under Majerus.

I doubt they want either. two NCAA tourneys in 40 years isn't exactly impressive. nor their middle school gymnasium.
Craving a McBride Special!
Not going to happen. Just excitement after being so good the past couple of years. Their other sports would not be able to compete at that level.

Former WIDB Sports Director and Dawg Pound President. Since my freshmen year, SIU Basketball has not appeared in a NCAA or NIT postseason game.
It took Wichita State and Creighton several years to move on. I argue our 2002-2007 run was more impressive because it was 6 consecutive years making the tournament in a tougher Valley. No final four obviously but 2 Sweet 16s.

Man, that's not a great move by Marquette. I think there are probably some secret sighs of relief around UT about Smart leaving.
