I hate to inform Barkeep of this, but the Peoria Gargoyles have won 4 in a row and are in 3rd place.
Hey I like you and all and we have sat together for a few games. I don’t like banning people especially friends but there is only so much I can take 😁

I guarantee when the Gargoyles rear their ugly head in Banterra Center, we're gonna take em down! LOL

SIU has a 55% chance at the 6 seed, 18% as a 7 seed. 26% overall at playing Thursday.
Was supposed to be a full MVC slate tomorrow but at least one game (Evansville at Valpo) has been postponed due to the winter storm.
A good week to be the home team (assuming games are played).
Congrats to JD. Any award feels good.
Defensive Player of the Month is J.D. Muila who had 9 rebounds, a block, and a steal on January 27th against Loyola.
I'm not sayin' -- I'm just sayin'!
Northern Iowa up 9 at halftime on Bradley
Loyola up 20 on Illinois State near halftime
Drake beat Indiana State by 18 on the road
Murray State is gonna be a force in the Valley. They might be in the national Top 25 this week and have this article from CBS on how Ja Morant has made frequent trips back to Murray to help with recruiting and development with the current players
Morant's made around 20 trips back to Murray, Kentucky, since leaving after his sophomore season. There have been epic pickup games with former and current Murray State players. Those games are high-level and keep a place like Murray State special. It's one of the proudest mid-major programs in the sport, and that was a significant factor in the school recently accepting an invite to join the Missouri Valley Conference later this year.
Morant loves Murray State, takes great pride in it; it's still the header photo on his Twitter profile, which has north of 1.5 million followers. Murray State now has a "Ja Morant Recovery Room" in its practice facility, which he donated back to the program. It's one of the few mid-majors with NBA-level treatments for players getting work from team trainers.
Good for him, good for the MVC. He's one of the most exciting players in the NBA - just love the way he plays!

I know this has been mentioned before but if Morant is helping with recruiting wouldn't that be a recruiting violation just like if any other donor "helped" with recruiting?

How so? Many colleges have former players come in and workout with or talk to recruits

So how is that different from anyone who donates to a university and is not an employee helping to recruit a player? Maybe someone can explain because I don't know.
