Only making an upset prediction: #7 Valpo over #2 Mo State

Just came here to say that I could see Valpo pulling the upset tomorrow
Friday in St. Louis starts in about 10 minutes. Should be a good one.
Northern Iowa favored by 8 over Illinois State at Noon
Loyola favored by 5.5 over Bradley at 2:30
Missouri State favored by 10.5 over Valpo at 6:00

How is the UNI > ISU game only 8? That's easy $$ IMO
Similarly, how is Missouri State giving so many? Makes no sense. Missouri State is like a box of chocolates................you never know what you're going to get. They can conceivably win the tourny, but could easily crap the bed and lose to Valpo today. That line is just odd. Not one I would bet mind you.
Northern Iowa beats Illinois State 78-65 to move on. AJ Green with 17 points, Antonio Reeves with 20 for ISU Red. Bradley-Loyola coming up in a half hour.
Loyola way too talented for Bradley so far. Not enough Terry Roberts for Bradley
Redbirds make the hiring of Ryan Pedon official

The Braves have really looked sloppy all game, with a bunch of forced shots and tipped passes. Loyola should be putting this one away in the next five minutes or so.
The Ramblers know that they can't afford to lose this one, and probably have to win tomorrow for any true at-large shot should they need it. And they're the only Valley team with any true at-large shot.
Loyola wins big, no real surprise to me. Tomorrow's rematch against UNI is going to be epic. I found it odd at the end of the game Coach Valentine's basic "run" through the handshake line. Is there some bad blood I'm not aware of?
Loyola beats Bradley 66-50. Bradley shoots 31% in the loss.
I stand by what I said, if SIU beats Drake, they can easily make it to the next round. They have already beaten Valpo twice and Missouri State is not as good as most people think. They just jack up bad shot after bad shot. It amazes me that they don't go to Prim more often, but they don't.
I think Missouri State is the worst possible matchup for SIU just based on their athleticism. Don't think it's impossible to beat them but I wouldn't expect a win.
Donovan Clay having probably his best game of the season and ending Valpo's season can't be sitting well with Valpo fans

I don't disagree with their athleticism but man when they go rogue, which is often, they just plain stink. Mosley, as talented as he is, tries to do too much and turns the ball over frequently (has more TO's than assists). And while he has scored well in some games, other games he doesn't show up. They are better than SIU, but the fact is they have serious off nights, as shown by losses to SEMO, ETSU, Illinois State, Indiana State as well as getting blown out by good teams like Northern Iowa and Saint Mary's.
