Missouri State looks like it could be a dark horse contender after underachieving badly last year. I think they have some addition by subtraction with a couple of the transfers who didn't work out last year, plus sophomores Mosley and Black are improved, and Prim is in better shape and looking good.
UNI is still finding itself without Greene, and has gone from preseason favorite to a team that might struggle to avoid Thursday.
Both ISUs have been pretty disappointing, but Illinois State in particular is awful.
No stopping Drake!
That's what I said. I expect them to possibly sneak into the top 4. Prim is really good. I am not sure that SIU matches up with him very well.
MSU scares me; I think they have the potential to be right near the top of the conference. We did not match up well them last year for some reason, and this year could be more of the same.
Yeah, I know we beat them at home on Domask's miracle shot, but I was completely unsurprised when they absolutely crushed us at their place in the last regular season game.
(Inflammatory political snark)
Indiana State giving Drake ALL they can handle right now. Ind St was up by 8-9pts earlier but now it's a 2pt Drake lead with 4 to play.
Scores:
Loyola and Drake are legit
We play like we did yesterday and today against Evansville and we'll get swept pretty easily by Drake.
If noticed around the valley 2nd games were much different than first game adjustments made overnight will be the norm in the valley this year whoever does this the best will win the league this schedule will test everyone and the more experienced teams and coaches should succeed

It’ll be interesting to see if this trend continues. I’m sure you are correct.
bradley has just shut down for covid. wonder if the league has a plan for the valley tourney if a team is forced to drop out then. if we even get that far.

That dump of a school should have closed a long time ago

Loyola scheduled North Texas for Saturday at 6:30 PM to make up for the temporarily lost Bradley series.
Anyone have the Hackmans(?) seeding probability link?
@barkeep-1967 And some of their alumni call it, "The Harvard of the Midwest"... 🙄 🤣
