Go Dawgs! Let’s not see a let down after the big win against Oklahoma State. I want to see this offense to spread the ball and give others confidence to score. I appreciate X, but let’s not get into a one dimensional offense where one guy looks to do it all and the other four guys watch. One last thought, Rebound! Rebound! Rebound!
Anyone know AJ Ferguson's status? I think I had heard somewhere (maybe here) they were targeting Wichita State? Just curious about his progress. Also, I know basketball typically has multiple games a week so it makes it a bit harder, but why don't they have the weekly press conferences with Mullins like they do Hill? I thought they used to do that.
Go Dawgs, beat the Peay out of them.

I think they usually wait until the meat of conference season for basketball weekly press conferences, though now would be a good time to build off the good vibes of the early results from a PR standpoint.
There are certainly plenty of questions fans would be curious about on the injury/eligibility front, let alone the good stuff that's been happening on the floor. For one thing, I would love to know exactly what Xavier Johnson's offseason training regimen looked like ... because damn.
Agreed. Perhaps it's just my perspective, but I FEEL like I have seen a couple eligibility updates (positive or not) from some players who had been waiting to hear. It sure would be nice if we could get an update on Hensley, even if it is the likely confirmation that he is not going to play this season.

Someone said he broke something in his foot and he was going to try to play in the Wichita State game at the earliest. He was in a boot before the Oklahoma State game.
Any more updates on Sharpe's status?
Any more updates on Sharpe's status?
Sharp seems to be cleared, at least for warm-ups as he was out there last Tuesday. If he’s not playing in the 3 easier games they have left in non-con though, I’d imagine they’re gearing up for a redshirt year.

"A judge’s ruling on Wednesday at 10 a.m. could at least temporarily lift the association’s rules around second-time transfers, opening a path for athletes who have had waivers denied or whose waiver is outstanding to play immediately at their new schools. The hearing is the first step in a lawsuit filed last week by seven states that looks to eliminate the NCAA’s transfer rules."
Hensley’s situation sucks and he has a strong case to have his waiver approved but it sets a bad precedent in the future for SIU if players are able to transfer freely multiple times. Having them sit a year actually benefits a school like SIU because it might get them a player they wouldn’t have gotten normally.
SIU continues to struggle with giving up offensive rebounds. It's early in this one, but something seems to be missing so far. This is an important win to finish off what has been an impressive homestand.
Miller in pretty early here, and not for XJ. Here's hoping this is where he finally starts to put it together.
Miller with an early layup, a couple rebounds and an assist. I like it.
