Never understood the mentality that you're less of a fan for wanting better for your program. Go sign guy!
Craving a McBride Special!
I will be there Wednesday with a similar sign to show my support for the sign guy across from me!
Have you guys seen twitter and Facebook. This is why we chose to lock the game thread lol
Hinson: "For whatever reason, we are really feeling a lot of pressure right now."
Geez Hucky. It's like you are incapable of dealing with pressure.

What a great hire after the Lowery era.
What a great hire after the Lowery era.
Who was the other finalist besides Danny Muller?
I think Ray Giacoletti (the former Drake Coach) was one of them.
Way to go, guys! We had a great thing going with an awesome coach who was right in the middle of a turnaround, and the negativity of this board just RUINED EVERYTHING.
Fact: The average turnaround takes 10 years, and we are nowhere close to that mark. Typical of today's mindset: must have IMMEDIATE results.
I am so disappointed in this so-called fan base!
Go, Southern, Go!!!

“People that call for my job, they’re calling for a lot of peoples’ jobs,” Hinson said at the time. “I’m not a quick fix. I never have been and I never will be. The only heat I feel is the heat I put on myself.”
"I never have been and I never will be."

I really thought that with the MVC as mediocre as it is this year that he’d manage to compete for the regular season title. I figured he’d come up short of course, but i really didn’t expect him to be fighting to avoid Thursday in this putrid version of the MVC

I have no idea. If so, that shows you there was and is a problem higher up in the organization.
I thought the finalists were Mueller, Hinson, and Rodney Watson. I could be mistaken though. I liked Rodney at the time, but I don't think he would have done much better. Although we probably wouldn't have to hear the Huckster routine every interview.
I liked Rodney at the time but agree that he might have had problems too. Although I still feel he would have been much better at Player retention (Jordan Caroline comes to mind) and would have had a much better relationship with all of the players.
I like Watson, but after his performance at southern Indiana I just don’t think he is the guy. We might be marginally less embarrassing if he were the coach, but we wouldn’t be winning league titles or anything
