This is going to be a disaster, does anyone really believe that after 17 years of coaching without an NCAA bid Barry Hinson is going to lead us to his first ever bid ? With this situation hanging over Barry's head how is he going to sign recruits this fall in what is a critical signing period especially considering how unbalanced our current classes are. This program may take years to recover.

As fans I know we can't change the fact that Hinson will get one more year to run our program into the ground . I guess their is no legs to the idea of putting up billboards throughout Southern Illinois ? Or hope of well placed ads in local papers asking for Hinson to step down ? This is maddening, I hate the fact that Hinson won and gets to run our program further into the abyss.
Everyone knows where Cook sits. He sits one row in front of me, approximately 20 seats to my left, right at halfcourt. I will go by and personally thank him for helping to set the program back 2-3 years.
UUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! Mullins could have gotten this squad this year and been able to recruit. Instead, we have this crew without any ability to get new talent going forward.
Maybe Mullins gets another year as an assistant and then he comes here. We suck it up for '19-'20, and hopefully have a somewhat exciting squad by '21.
