Massinburg (big guard who can shoot the piss out of the ball) had 43 against the Mountaineers. Sean Lloyd will probably have the task of trying to keep him to half of that Monday. Buffalo plays a very entertaining, uptempo brand of ball ... should be a fun game for those who make it to the Arena on Monday.
Buffalo was really impressive in their OT win over 13th ranked West Virginia on WV home floor. Massinburg is really talented. 43 pts, 14 rbs, 3 assists, 9 treys. Lloyd will have his hands full guarding him.
Perkins will be a handful on the inside, too. 6'8" 250
Looking forward to this one. If the Salukis want a shot at the post season they need this one. It's a resume builder.

I'm going to the game on Monday. Very Excite. Was impressed with Dawgs on Friday night against UK. I didn't think we'd win going into it. But there were times during the game I thought we might. Thought Dawgs looked good.

Saw part of that WV game. Buffalo is big and athletic. When I was watching, WV was up by double digits. Both teams looked sloppy. I guess Buffalo went on a big run at the end to tie it and won in OT. We need to stay cool and slow the game down. That won't be to their liking. If we shoot it and stay disciplined and play our arses off, we can win this.
P.S.: Bob Huggins looked like he had a long meeting with Jim Beam the night before. Has there ever been a Southern Ohio hillbilly that highly paid?

I talked to Novsek a few weeks ago, right after he was hired. He told me he couldn’t actually coach the players and was more of an advisor. At that time he wasn’t sure just what his duties were.
