The plane is doing the same thing it did in Madison. Going to Dayton and then coming back pretty quickly so there’s got to be something to this unless it’s a total deke
@salukiworld My guess is picking up someone to come back and interview. The Madison trip Monday happened twice, so I am sure that is what that was too. If anyone really wants the scoop, head out to the airport around 10, and see who gets off the plane.
We had our top candidates on campus a while back. Clearly we were rejected. We are on to second rate (at best) candidates. If this is not the definition of "scrambling" I don't know what is. Don't lie to yourselves, we are way down our list. To the point we are having to do more interviews than we even wanted to.. That is BAD.
My guess is Ricardo Greer, assistant at Dayton. As we all know, Dayton is a highly successful mid major and the coaches on that staff can really recruit.

I think it could be James Kane too who worked at Murray State. Racer fans were loud about him possibly replacing McMahon before they went with Prohm
Also Darren Hertz worked under Billy Donovan for years and spent 2 seasons on John Groce’s staff at Illinois

Which part? I am 100% sure we had candidates on campus weeks ago. Conducted a round of interviews and walk through of the facilities. We are now firing back up interviews. i am inferring that we are now onto candidates much lower on our list than the 3 (at least) that were on campus...
If they're picking anyone up today in Ohio, probably means things are not progressing (at least smoothly) with Krabbenhoft.

This is quickly becoming and unmitigated disaster. We have drastically underestimated how little coaches want this job...

Explain. Tim Leonard already said he had his list. They moved quick, got those guys on campus. They fit the description of what he wanted. They took a week off, thought they had their guys, they didn't. They are now firing it all back up. You tell me what part is wrong?
