My guess right now is Spradlin if it’s not Kyle. I think it would be a very strong hire. His teams are always very athletic compared to the rest of the OVC. The only question is, can what he does well in the OVC make the big jump up to the MVC? Because I think every MVC, even Valpo, can compete in the OVC.
Calhoun would be another good hire. He’s one of the coaches that does more with less. No NCAA Tournament births there in 7 years is an issue but extremely tough place to coach. Last season they had their highest KenPom season since KenPom records have started in 1997.
this article is a 1000 times more researched than anything put together by a local writer I’ve seen in a long time. The tv guy’s list was embarrassing. All alums and Ford? Are you kidding me?

A solid effort and welcome amid the black hole of information on the search. The only thing that annoyed me was comparing Smithpeters, who walked on, to Mullins’ Saluki career.
Both the Morehead and Youngstown coach are intriguing.

I read the “article” by Jake Siegel and was shocked. There’s no way he spent more than 10 minutes researching that drivel.

Having listened to some of his inane questions during football press conferences, sounds about right.
Bronkema is certainly an interesting choice. Potentially the 2nd best out of DII candidates on the market.
Spradlin or Calhoun could be good hires.
One thing I like about Spradlin is that he has developed bigs. See Broome who's now at Auburn. That was one of my biggest complaints with Mullins
Lengthy article on Spradlin. I would be onboard with this hire.

Good article, as was the one by Eli Hoover. Liked how Spradlin discussed his approach to the portal, which will be a priority. Also liked how he didn't say anything about wanting to stay at Morehead State forever and ever.

He checks off all the boxes Leonard is looking for in a head coach as stated in his interviews.
Please keep looking. That article by Hoover barely mentioned Ben McCollum, who has the most impressive record of any of those guys. Makes me think Hoover should go back to selling vacuum cleaners. Not impressed and that is certainly not a NATIONAL SEARCH.
If KS gets the job, I'll crap Leonard's pants! (And I'll figure the decision had to do with economics - cheap hire!)

I like McCollum a lot, and he might have been No. 1 on my list before the rumor mill had him practically locked in at Missouri State. It still would be worth the effort to contact him, however.
