Not to piss on anyones cheerios, but I don't think you can take much from this game.
Colorado State is only projected to win like 5 games this year and lost by 18 at home to Louisiana-Lafayette just the week before this.
They are really bad.
I would disagree with this.
1st the Louisiana-Colorado State game was on a neutral court in Florida during a tournament and Louisiana has a good team this year. Colorado State had won all there home games this year until now.
2nd The home team has won every game in the Missouri Valley/ Mountain West tournament for the last 2 years.

We shot the ball well, had very few turnovers, and dominated the boards....all on the road. That said, I agree Colo. St. is not very good. Picked for 8th in their league. We did what we should have, but I wouldn't read a lot into it.

I don't think anyone is saying that this is a marquee win that will put us over the hump for an NIT bid, but we did go into the game as a 2-point underdog.
We played a complete game regardless of the opponent. We played buzzer-to-buzzer, on the road, at 5,000+ feet altitude and won in a blowout.
CSU is at about the same level as UMass and we all know what happened against UMass.

CSU lost by 6 at Colorado in their next game. Colorado is pretty good.
