@mr_woogers gotta know what your talking about to speak it. if you watched a few games you would see his team was terrible. Head coach had him playing different positions. Had two kids shooting over half the shots every game who weren’t very good themselves also he missed a bunch of games. Hopefully he finds the right fit.

He's just an average (if that) college guard. Averaged 21 mins. and 5.7 pts. per game on an awful team. Started just 6 games.
Fact is, he didn't play much at NIU toward the end of his last season there, and they were a bad team with one high scoring player (not Darius).
I have nothing against the kid at all but he was over-hyped, and it's a real shame he had to follow his Dad around. His college transcript must look like Sanskrit.

Considering no one in Carbondale or Marion has went d1 in basketball since him and his teammate Kani acree back in 2018 which beane is still having a better career than acree (no offense to acree)? Id consider him pretty successful no matter how many schools he’s been to. LOL I like you. Also Averaging 10 ppg at a D1 with no outside shot is pretty good. (Bad team or not) But I do agree on an average career so far. He’s always had that explosive step tho hurt or not. Hopefully where ever he ends up I can catch a few games and we’ll re touch base. As for us, are we going to be good this year? Football seems to be the sport to watch
@mr_woogers he didn’t play much at the end for other reasons announced during their last game against central Michigan by the announcers. One of the few games I got to catch. Again gotta know what you talking about before you just type buddy. LOL
even though nobody really cares or reads these because neither of us have played at any level first off LOL.. the first 10 games of the season he averaged 13 led the teams in points rebounds and assist AND steals before his coach got fired 7 games into the season after being there for 7 years.
As for CSUN apparently he got hurt during the middle of the season and didn’t play too well after. Hopefully we see a full recovery this year.

My guess is jake has some kind of personal relationship with Darius, maybe a relative. I don't think anyone on here wishes anything bad for Darius. My advice is to lighten up and not be so obvious next time you want to defend him or some other relative or whatever.

@saluki82 no sir, have met the kid twice his freshman year at SIU when he took a picture with my sons. Am I being obvious? Or do I need to give you my social media lol no relationship at all. Or maybe I just feel the need to reply because I love talking sports, found this page, and then seen some comments that shows some of us are just a LITTLE off when it comes to talking about certain things. plus have been a fan since he’s been in HS and love speaking facts rather than just typing. I replied to most of these post cause they’re a little misleading that’s all. (Don’t wanna be to obvious). But I’m done replying on this one and am on to a different thread. Either way, I wish the kid the best next year whereever he goes
@salukiworld I wouldn’t base it off followers thoug, I see a Stetson coach follows him, along with an Appalachian state coach.(who were pretty good in their league) I do see him following some D2s. Interesting
