Was an honor watching him play the last 4 years. Great on the court and even better off. Thanks for everything Marcus!
Good luck thanks for all the hard work and memories especially the MOST winner.
While we all knew this was probably coming it doesn’t make it hurt any less.
All-time great Saluki and an even better kid it seems like. I hope he gets to play in the tourney wherever he ends up.
I wish Marcus the very best and he’s as classy a kid as they come but it still will be painful to watch him play in another uniform and complicates his SIU legacy a bit. Yet another reason to hate COVID …
All of the sudden I am extremely worried about next year. I have a feeling Lance will be gone too. Someone give me a reason for hope and incoming talent!
@14_alumdawg Davis is awesome but it's most likely Jones is gone too. At least brown isn't a loss.

Kennard Davis might be good! Oh and the Valley is going to be worse than last year by a significant margin!
I can talk myself a little into more ball movement with Domask and Jones gone but they’d need to hit home runs in the portal.
@salukiworld I think he's probably better than just good domask was great and he played in small town Wisconsin
Bad news but not unexpected. So sorry to see him go.
(Inflammatory political snark)

From what I’ve seen/heard, I think his defense will be ready to go from the beginning but he needs to improve as a scorer and facilitator. Don’t think he’s as ready as Domask was in his first year but I think he’s going to be good.
Honestly though, it’s really hard to get excited about next year unless there’s some portal hits. And it’s even harder knowing you wasted Domask & Jones for 4 years and couldn’t even hit an NIT.
It is a sad day in Saluki Nation. Marcus was amazing to watch. Congrats to him and good luck in the future. He will get grabbed by a power conference very quickly.
@salukiworld while true Davis probably would have put up domask numbers in Wisconsin. Davis played in a considerably harder League
Although saddened by this news, I am not surprised. MD has earned this right, as he will graduate in May with honors, and will have done so in four years. He was a pleasure to watch the past four seasons. I wish him nothing but the best moving forward! Time for some new kids to shine!
GO DAWGS!!!
No surprise. I'm grateful for him, and at the same time I'm ready to move on.
Time for Mullins to earn his paycheck and build an actual offense.
