Evansville getting away with a lot bumping. They're also way better than #306 - they have really improved since game 1. Also shooting out of their minds, partially due to wussy D by us.

I mean the kid who shot the 3’s at the last media timeout of the half has a better shot % than our team….
The last 30 seconds were a microcosm of this lousy season: leave the ONE guy you can’t leave open (Haffner) for a 3, then Hensley misses a layup at the other end.

Listen not a lot to be inspired by, but Evansville has hit a TON of really difficult shots. I think we just give other teams confidence for whatever reason, makes it easier for them to knock down shots. I don’t expect that to continue in the second half, but I don’t have much confidence we are going to score a ton either. So tired of watching our players missing bunnies.
They hopefully will come back to earth - that kind of shooting beats top 20 teams.

There is a lot to be said about the giving other teams confidence part. Rhythm and mindset is a huge part of basketball and it’s not working in this team’s favor because they don’t make anyone uncomfortable.
