Eville may have been one of the worst teams in the country earlier this year but not now. They just beat Missouri State by 17. They shot out of their minds first half this game. Yes we're bad, but they played very well today. They also have some good size.
We just don't have nearly enough talent without EE to be very competitive. We are one of the worst outside shooting teams I've seen in a while. Have a feeling a lot of these guys won't be here next year once Nagy has time to recruit.
Had this horrible hangover dream that the Salukis got blown out of their home arena on New Year's Day by Evansville...what a nightmare!
Thank God that dream is over and 2025 will be an awesome year for the Dawgs.

Coach Watson got it right with his comments about the last 8 minutes of the 1st half.
He didnt say it,but this performance was not only bad ,but a damned disgrace.
I've been defending Nagy all season, but this team has checked out. That has to be at least partially on the Coaching Staff.
I was thinking this might be our worst team since Lowery's 8-22 campaign. But now I'm thinking it may go beyond that. We could literally challenge Joe Gottfried's record of futility.
Nagy needs to keep maybe 4-5 guys and let the rest walk. And those few guys better work their asses off in the off-season. Brutal.
Nagy - we need to regain the players confidence as coaches so they'll do what we ask
If Nagy's radio interview is any indiction, you might want to tune out the rest of the season. He seems to know this won't be fixed until next year via recruiting.
Are we confident Nagy can recruit the right players for the program. The HS recruits seem like good gets, but can we be relevant with out hits in the portal. He himself has said he is not big on the portal. Also Nagy had the chance to recruit his former players and didn’t for some reason….maybe he’s a nice guy. Nagy won’t be on the hot seat for some time but how long can Leonard survive if it continues going this way? Just a question, I’m not calling for anyone’s head to roll yet.
Nagy: I don't think our guys have had enough fight all year...how do you change it? .... recruiting - but we're not giving up on these guys...we have guys with no confidence shooting.

Bryan Mullins would look good on the sidelines right about now. Program going into a tailspin. Tim Leonard is a buffoon. Congrats to everyone tho on this awesome new era!

Mullins had a winning record. His style might not have been your cup of tea. He would have lit a fire under this team for a lack of effort. It would seem that Nagy has not done that or if he has. It hasn’t sunk in or the team has check out.
Nagy admits to some embarrassment, but I sure like his interviews way better than the previous coach. He's honest and open and I think he'll get it done...may take a few years.
Unless you have tons of money (like a Big 10 or SEC school), you're not going to just buy a good team from the portal.
And I would bet a lot of money this team would beat the Joe Gottfried team - might be OT though.
We have what we have for the next 5 1/2years. Hope he can turn it around at some point.

Hinson had a wining record too and accomplished just as much as Mullins. There’s no excuse for this season but pretending Mullins had something rolling here is just lying. Unless you like 6th place and losing to UIC on Thursday in St. Louis.

Mullins could coach D but he was a bad offensive coach. He had 2 Big 10 All-Conference players, neither of which he recruited, but could never get over the hump. We paid him 2 million + for so-so results.
I am absolutely willing to give Nagy a few years - he's a much more experienced and successful head coach. Lot of idiots on here with insane expectations and snap judgements IMO.
