Agree - having Rupert back would have been a big boost for the team, but Davis was the #1 priority - talented kid who will just get better. Also would have been nice to have D'Amico back. Solid player.

I wasn't nearly as sold on Ebube as others. Would have been nice but not the end of the world.  Also wasn't as sold on Ferguson. Good rebounder but not much of a scorer. No great loss IMO.

Ferguson played hurt all of last year. He is explosive and can shoot the 3. A healthy Ferguson is a very good player. Also, he was our leading scorer very early last year before he got hurt.

In 2 games for Murray so far this year Ferguson is averaging 9.5ppg, leading the team at 6rpg, also leading the team at 3.5 APG, 1 steal pre game. His assist to turnover ratio is 2.5/1. He is shooting 58% FG and 33% from 3. I'd say that's a pretty darn good stat line for a player on a pretty decent team.

Averages are deceiving. He had 9 getting whipped by Pitt and 10 in an 86 point win against NAIA Bethel college.

Last year missed 7 games early in the conference season. Then played the rest of the season averaging 27 mpg.

Never was the leading scorer. That was XJ by a mile.  Best game: Chicago State he had 20. Had 7 games of 10 - 16 points. Had a number of games where he disappeared and scored very little. Shot < 30% from three. 4th leading scorer per game, 2nd in rbs.

We beat Oklahoma St. and destroyed SLU without him.

I'm sure he could help us some, but for the most part, I'm fine with the guys we have. Don't see him as being a star player at Murray.

AJ Ferguson scored 16 points, had 4 rebounds and was 4-4 from 3 against preseason favorite in Conference USA MTSU, but I guess that's deceiving...
