Anyone wanna tell Valpo that the games start counting tonight? They're getting thumped early at Toledo, 21-4 midway thru the first half.

I’m not surprised one bit.

Toledo is one of the top mid-majors but not great

Big win for Brad Korn and SEMO last night, winning at So. Florida. Game was tight all the way.
USI and SEMO both showing that they won’t be easy games on our schedule.

It sucks that they’re both tough games on paper but they’ll hurt SIU even if the Salukis win and it’s not by a comfortable margin. I’m pretty nervous for Sunday, think it’s gonna be a crazy atmosphere. Hopefully the Alabama exhibition prepared them.
USI maybe but South Florida is not a good team. Jury still out in SEMO
I didn’t watch any of the USI game but Mizzou led pretty comfortably most of the game and even had a 83-63 lead with 4:47 to go. Southern Indiana was apparently unconscious at the end of the game and couldn’t miss and made the final score much closer than the game actually was. Still a dangerous team and it’s going to be a crazy atmosphere on Sunday.

I did watch a good portion of the game and even what Missouri was up, Southern Indiana was giving them fits. They are a much better team than their preseason ranking may show.

Their preseason rank was actually pretty good for a D2 move up team. Somewhere around 260 I think.
Oklahoma St. is at 34 and So. Indiana is up to 240 on kenpom this morning. Salukis jumped from 90 to 85.

Yeah Southeast Missouri started way too low at 309. Korn is a good coach and they have some talent.
