34.5% shooting against a terrible team like Grambling.  Can't say this game is building my confidence for the rest of the season.  This team just doesn't look good enough to me.

We're not very good - we'll have a few games where we shoot lights out. Sure don't look like a top 4 MVC team.

Embarrassing to let this team get this close.

Watson just said that he feels this game was really going to help SIU prepare for conference play.   I'd like whatever he is smoking !!!!!!!!!

As games go... that was one of them.  This won't prepare the Dawgs for anything, really.  But it's better than not playing a game at all, I guess.

At the very least, they can't play much worse against Loyola.  Hopefully the shots that weren't falling are falling on Sunday because they're gonna need them.

If we play like this going forward it may be a long season.  More negatives than positives right now.  We will see what happens Sunday but if we play like tonight it may not be pretty.  Have to admit at this point it is disappointing, hope it changes quickly.

The Bronx cheer for Muila’s made free throw might have been the highlight of the night.

Also, if Banks is out for an extended period, not good, with Loyola and Drake coming and no real PG depth.

If SIU plays like this against Loyola, it'll be over by halftime

This team simply is not very good.  You know that.  They dont even play like much of a team on offense.

Other than Domask was on fire in the first half, this wasnt much.

Bring in some stud juco transfers next year. It will be necessary

I am glad Brian doesn’t recruit the type of players Grambling has and am proud our guys didn’t sink to their level. That’s not easy for young people or even some of us old people.

So anyway, based on that last comment, lets get the Loyola thread going already.   😁

That team sure displayed some bad attitude.

That team should never be invited back to our gym.  No wonder they've only had 2 home games this season.

We really missed Dalton Banks tonight.  Nice to see Trent Brown get some minutes and hit a couple shots.  He certainly wasn't gun-shy.

We are so damn weak at the 5.  Can't wait to see what Scottie Ebube brings to the table next season after a year of practice & conditioning.
