The reality is, this is NOT a good shooting team. That isn't going to change so they need to use transitional basketball as much as possible. They also need to hit their FT's and bunnies.

It's the effort and not being prepared that is most disappointing. I had a very bad feeling given the injuries and later game than EKU that went to OT but we weren't ready to play. We appear to have the biggest hangover from yesterdays OT loss ever!
I'm done for the day. I know hindsight provided me with this, but I stand by the fact that we should NOT have had a tough schedule with this team. They are too new. The injuries don't help, but this team wasn't going to beat OK St, Florida, LA Tech and perhaps even Charleston WITH 100% health.

This is just depressing. Keep thinking ... hoping ... that someday SIU will be good again, but that looks as far away now is it has at any point over the last 15+ years.

If they are getting blown out by EKU, they aren’t beating many teams
