Thankfully, SIU starts this half exactly the same as the first... nice 19-7 run to open 'er up here. 52-46 good guys with a good 13 minutes left.
This game is nuts

You're not kidding! One massive run after another here. Dawgs making everything this half, scoring 29 points in just 10 minutes?!?
This game's still FAR from over, as the Bison keeps draining threes. One more puts 'em into the top ten SIU media guide for made threes against us in a game.
Don't know if I've ever seen Cook throw the ball away this much.
70-63 SIU at the 4 minute timeout. Can they hang on to the ball and get this one?
Great showing from Beane and Gooch tonight, and whoever said Howard had friggin good guard play was spot on - wow.
Well after the doom and gloom of the 1st half, that's actually not a bad win without Fletcher and McGill.

I wish that Williams was on our team - sweet shot!!
Bartley was lights out.
Could someone shove a sock in Steve Falat's mouth? The guy just yells in the mike and has no talent. You can't hear the TV guys over his loud mouth.
Craving a McBride Special!
Darius Beane MVC Freshman of the Year?? That kid has talent. Just has great court sense, anticipates, quick , can shoot and rebound and pass. Impressive freshman.

If he can keep up that shooting we'll be a lot tougher to beat. Had it going tonight! Impressive.
Quite a few new entries in the SIU media guide after this one...
Cook's 10 assists are tied for 9th-best in one game in team history, and he becomes the 10th Saluki alltime with a 10+ assist game. It's the best total by a Saluki in a game since Kevin Dillard got 10 assists against Western Kentucky on January 25, 2010.
Howard's 12 made threes tie for 10th most overall against SIU.
Charles Williams just cracks the book with his 30-point performance, as it's the 39th time an opponent's gotten 30+. Mark Alstork of Wright State was the last to do so, with 30 points against SIU in November of 2016.
Dominant force.
