@mr_woogers Shouldn't he be engaged as to what the assistant is saying not wondering around
Sometimes the best thing a coach can do is leave his players alone. He's doing what a good administrator should do to get buy-in from his people by delegating - making his assistants more than just recruiters and giving them real responsibilities. I think many good HCs do exactly the same thing. He's obviously gleaning ideas from Hawkins too, a guy that has been a HC for decades. Listen to his post-game comments about his attitude affecting the players. He knows he has enough talent to flush the Turds. He also knows it's better if his players relax and have some fun playing and he knows his behavior as the boss can negatively affect their game. Nagy is a very experienced coach. I like it.
This didn't age well, lolI'm thankful this is the last home loss I will have to witness in-person this season.
It’s odd that I don’t feel too bad about where things sit. If you can get an 9-11 season out of a team that lost its best player in Year One??? Not bad.
We gotta see what he does with a full offseason. Coach saw his inadequacies after the 0-5 start and made some adjustments. The team has been more than competitive since that point. I have faith.

Given last night's outcome in a game few people expected SIU to win against a team we all dislike, taking issue with what the head coach did or didn't do in a timeout is like saying one tiny cloud in the sky ruined a beautiful warm, sunny day. This season hasn't gone the way we wanted it to and Nagy certainly must bear his share of responsibility for that (and to his credit, he hasn't been afraid to say so), but c'mon, man! Let's cut the guy just a bit of slack this time.
Great game all the way around from the coaching staff to the players and fans!! Go Dawgs.
Aa usual the bi polar board is alive last week he couldn't coach i make an observation that seemed strange to me and after 1 win after 3 horrible losses we have Phil Jackson
