Hope Banks just has a stinger.

Okay, on to Peoria! Go get 'em Dawgs.

Dalton Banks playing well gives this team a whole ‘nother dimension.

He was probably the best player in the Valpo win too or at least top 2.  If he can be more consistent, it'll help SIU a ton.  He was great tonight.

Coupet and Domask really looked tired to me. Coupet led in RBs with 8.

Coupet for sure looked gassed to me all night.  Domask too but was also shut down by good defense.  Makes what Jones, Banks, and Verplancken did all the more important.

Indiana State also looked gassed and it's probably a different game with Henry but given how much SIU has played this week, you'll take the win anyway you get it.  Especially with at Bradley, at Loyola, Loyola looming.

Excellent ball movement lead to better shots during the run and they finally finished a game off. Banks pog also just one observation during the game this has to be the most bipolar board I have ever read 🤣

Not much different than any other board.  Overreact both ways. This team is right where they were supposed to be. 5th place IMO

Mullins: loved LJ's energy and D tonight - Lance had great energy in the shoot around today, complementing DAmico and Banks - liked 4 Assists and 0 TOs. D'Amico getting better every game.

I liked the smaller lineup tonight after the initial big 5's earlier.

Great offense and even greater D.

Not sure it would work with the top tier teams but it looked great tonight.

Nice job Dawgs.

Via the Reiss interview, Dalton seems like he is OK. That is a relief.

Good news. Dalton Banks: we don't listen to anybody - we know what we need and everything we need is in that locker room!

Dalton's very well-spoken. He could take over for Mike when he retires!

Sure hope the Dawgs don't read the crap on this board from us armchair QBs. LOL

Listening to Banks after the game and all previous interviews with various players this team is bought in as a group as they repeat the same basic points about the team and team mates and the most common theme is being buying into the process and improving

Banks showed me something tonight . He's got talent. Now just need to see it on a consistent basis.

Trees outplayed us for 3-plus quarters of the game.

But the Dawgs stepped up when it mattered, which is all that matters!!

Nice to see.

Great finish.  This hopefully turns the tide some, gives us the confidence going forward to be able to finish things.  Glad it didn't end up being down to the wire as this team needed the confidence in the ability to put one away.  It's a start.  Bradley looking like a tough game after the way they won tonight but on to Peoria with at least a couple of days rest.
