Avila is really good for a Freshman.  They have him doing so much.  He's even guarding Domask.

We're we in on him?

If he came here he'd probably be sitting!

Christmas list:

1. Healthy Ebube

2. Assistant coach who knows how to run an offense

Ebube has played a total of 8 minutes..........against one of the worst teams in the country.  I'm hopeful that he can get healthy and provide meaningful minutes but I don't think he's a miracle worker, especially considering he is NOT an offensive player and SIU needs scorers.

Fair enough, but at this point I’d take even a warm body who can play defense and be just somewhat of a scoring threat in the post.

Doesn't matter, it would be a waste of a scholarship, Mullins wouldn't play anyone that could help in the post. I think he hates post players

I don't know what happened to SIU's defense but I have more faith in them scoring than stopping Indiana State at this point

I dont think it's that. It seems he's more just deferential to those with experience.

Which is a bit odd considering him taking over the PG spot as a freshman was kind of a catalyst on a post Brooks/Hairston team.

also odd since the best team he has had to this point was his first year here when jones and domask were handed the reigns as freshmen.
