The Valley has taken a step back in the last few years. Teams need to take advantage of any marquee matchups they have of The Valley wants to get back to being a top 10 conference in the country.
@1dawg NIL will not allow that to happen.

Based on Kenpom, the MVC is the 12th ranked conference in the country. For the record, slots 7 - 11 are ALL Mid Major conferences. I can't imagine while NIL would affect the MVC more than say West Coast, Atlantic 10, Conf USA, etc.
this is more accurate IMO -

No shot SIU is 4th in the MVC right now, seems overreactive to blowing out one D1 team
None of these things are accurate this early in the season, if ever. Pretty sure UNI is in the top three and Bradley is the best team so far from what I've witnessed.
I still expect UNI to be at the top end of season but Gargoyles are better than expected.
Haven't seen Murray or InSU. Belmont doesn't look great IMO. Redturds look mediocre at best.
So why believe in KenPom??this is more accurate IMO -

I hope you're right about UNI but after watching them, I am concerned that their woes from last year (aside from health) have resurfaced. They did not look good against N Texas and very possibly only have 1 win before they start conference play against Belmont. I agree with everything else. Belmont has looked blah, but it's hard to bet against a team/coach that has won 20 or more games for 13 straight seasons. IND St looks good tonight and they still don't have a healthy Avila. Murray looks super athletic but still is held back by undisciplined play on offense, similar to last year.
This is shaping up to be a very good night for the Valley KenPom rankings, especially if Murray and UIC win.
