54 😳
Saluki Insider? I barely know her!
54 points... by halftime?!?
That's as much or more than SIU scored in eight ENTIRE games last year. This team scored an average of 64 a game last season.
It may be a little early for me to say this, so forgive me, but if Ebube and Rupert are capable of playing anywhere close to this good all year, then Mulia should never see the floor.
He sure is a physical presence !!!! That being said, as I mentioned from watching him during HS and AAU, he doesn't have much of an offensive game. The one thing he also provides though is a LOT more room to grow than JD as he still has 4 years to improve. Pretty exciting indeed. For me, however, Rupert seems like he will be the most important big of the season. As you said though, still a TON of hoops to be played. SO far so good !!!
Now, the key is NO LET UP in the second half!!!

Also less turnovers. The turnovers have been really annoying. The half could be even better. Not sure you can do that at Oklahoma State and expect to compete. But this is way too fun right now other than that.
If this game is any indication of what is to come...whoa Nellie! Looks like Mullins has something good going on here!
Wow! Impressive half. I don't think AKLR is very good, but we stomped them, which is what a good team should do to a bad team. We also shot 62%, which makes a team pretty much unbeatable.
Really impressed with Banks - 4 of 5 FTs and played really well. Ebube and Rupert are going to give us an inside presence we haven't had since Pippen! And we have a good PG!
We will be a factor in the MVC this year!
I am enjoying all of this. Every bit of it. I am yelling in my living room. I feel the spirit of the Dawg within me.
Bow Em
@salukiworld it’s crazy to think that if we just sliced 3-4 of those turnovers off we might be up more lol

I think this would still be a game with last year's team (as seen by the Little Rock game last year) but this team is playing so well they've not mattered at all.
Ebube seems to get a little ahead of himself on offense. Let us remember, he is in essence, a freshman playing in his first regular season college game. Lots and lots of upside is what I see.

On a side note the crowd looks pretty good !!! Did I miss the attendance figure ?
Reis had an early estimate in the 5,000 range.
