Domask out this weekend again:

In my opinion, he’s done and SIU is playing games with other teams taking this week by week. Domask is using a scooter and still in a boot, can’t see him playing anytime soon.
I would sit him out the rest of the season. Foot injuries can be career ending, just ask Bill Walton.
Could I just not ask Bill Walton so I don't have to listen to him drone on and on? 🤣
🤣
Bill needs to mellow out a little - maybe smoke more weed - like he did in college in the
"Conference of [former] Champions!!
Marcus was wearing matching shoes on bench today. Good sign I think.

If Marcus can't go at Loyola pain-free with no risk of re-injury, I'm shutting him down. It would be great to have him in St. Louis but I wouldn't bring him back for his first game in months at Arch Madness. There's really no point.

The MVC tournament is very ill-suited for a return from a stress fracture, with the short turnarounds and potential for multiple games. Of course, SIU is unlikely to play more than once or twice.
I figured it was Valpo series or bust as far as Domask returning this season, but we’ll see.

I'm not anticipating him playing but if he can go at Loyola, I'd let him play for at least one of the games. Maybe at that point you get him for a limited amount of time at Arch Madness. I can't imagine he'd be able to go full blow. That being said, I've thought he was done for the season for awhile.
I would be willing to bet Marcus plays in Arch Madness, if only for a while.

An update here on Domask and Muila, who are aiming to be full-go for summer workouts: https://twitter.com/thesouthern/status/1377072681078681600
A question for anyone with a sports medicine background (paging Saluki Bob): is Southern going to have to be more cautious with Domask's minutes going forward, or once he's fully healed, is he fine? Or, does it depend case to case?
Either way, hopefully Southern is building toward a roster with more quality depth, anyway, so it's less problematic to rest Marcus more during games and keep him fresher.
I hope coach Mullins has more confidence in our depth next year in order to limit Jones and Domask to only 30 minutes a game or so. The Domask injury is probably a direct result of too many minutes. The back to back games certainly didn't help. With decent health we look to be a very deep team next year. Especially if we sign a veteran transfer or two.
