He did this against USF's beast Jamille Reynolds who is 6'11" and 275 lbs! USF is a pretty decent team. They were winning at Florida for a good part of their first game before Florida pulled away at the end. Brzovic is one of the best centers in the country and College of Charleston is legit! We played a very good team in our first game. I definitely think they will make their 3rd straight trip back to the NCAA tourney.Update on Brzovic from last game:
I'm not sure if I should be refreshed by Nagy's candor during the postgame show or dismayed because he's throwing players under the bus! Either way, though, you have to give him credit for telling it like it is. ... I predicted over the summer that Davis would make a quantum leap this season and emerge as a star and leader, and it seems to be happening during this early period when everything else is in a state of flux.
Personally I love his straight talk! It's refreshing to have a coach that speaks frankly instead of most coaches using canned responses and cliches all the time.
I find the posts about zone defense interesting. Charleston played some 1-3-1 and it caused issues for SIU. With the length Southern has, this could be an interesting defense to use.

Was it the 2006 NCAA tournament that we lost to West Virginia? As I recall, they played a 1-3-1 half-court pressure defense that totally stifled us. We only scored 46 points.
I saw Tatum at the game again last night. Anyone listen to him? How does he do?
I recorded the game and watched. He had a couple really good observations, just needs to work on articulation. He’s got an excellent mentor in Mike Trude. Mike is a pro and like Reis, could work anywhere.

Had no answer for Pittsnoggle either. Kind of a player ahead of his time with his size, quickness, and skill set.
